CAROLINE CARTER WILL BE DOING A RAW FOOD PREP CLASS AT MNHCE!!!!!! You dont want to miss it! ;) You won't miss the whip cream in today's dessert recipes. Certified Raw Chef Caroline Carter and daughter Shenita Ray prepare delicious desserts that are gluten free, dairy free, using no refined sugar. Cashew milk is made and then used in a chocolate mousse parfait--using no chocolate; and, mouth-watering key lime tarts and truffles are prepared.

The public is becoming more and more health concious when it comes to eating and even eating out. There are plenty of natural doctors and practionteers spreading information around the community about the urgency of our health disparities. FOOD is MEDICINE and too often people forget that the essential medicines our bodies need come from the mother earth. We have to start that basic comunity education about indoor & outdoor gardening, herbal remedies and co-ops from a grass root level.

Don't you just love finding unique books, art, clothes and other items at street festivals and conferences? We have some of the most creative vendors out on the circuit dealing with natural hair and healthy lifestyle. Innovative people from all over the country travel to sell, buy, and market their great products at several different festivals , especially in the summer time! What are some of your favorite festivals? Learning about all the new festivals and cultural events usually help promote entrepreneurs , artists & also helps cities attract visitors and business. There are several huge festivals and some small 'just getting started' events & expos that are sure to interest most any family , church group , study group, business organization or individual who is looking for something fun but also educational to do! We want to know about the events coming up in your area! Feel free to promote , share the information & invite us all! ;)

Either doing hands on services or vending products at events is a good way for some people to make income on the side doing arts or crafts that they truly love. In times like these people are going back to communal shopping, recycling and cooperative economic ways to maintain. Events that help to connect independent retailers, consumers , distributors etc grow beyond just that particular event. Professional networking and business relationships are established that last and grow after the event is over. People are encouraged to spend 'black' dollars with black people, this is an easy way to give your hard earned money to people who you know deserve it and appreciate it. So support the vendors when you go to events, stop and chat with them, learn their stories and how you can help each other along the way! You may be surprised! And you may find something you can treasure forever!
